Taking their name from the Chuck Jones character and the Bo Diddley classic, the Roadrunners left their mark on French rock over roughly fifteen years, from 1982 to 1996, across six albums. Combining the Beatles' gift for melody, The Jam's energy and Les Dogs' class, the band from Le Havre played more than a thousand concerts, mainly in mainland France but also abroad, from the United States to Belgium. One of the few French groups to employ Franglais in lyrics written by Frandol, the Roadrunners — “the Road” to insiders — built a singular identity.
Following the vinyl release of Sales Figures, recorded at ICP Studios in Brussels, the band will perform on 19 November 2026 at 7:30 p.m. at the Rex in Toulouse.
