Blake Whiten brings his Something to Say Tour to the Horseshoe Tavern in Toronto on November 6, 2026. Born in Six Mile, a small town in South Carolina, he mines that rural backdrop for songs about memory, heartbreak and faith. Now based in Nashville, he writes in a country tradition shaped by unadorned acoustic guitars, a slightly husky voice and narratives that stay close to everyday detail.

After a run of early covers online, 2024 marked a shift with writing sessions in Nashville and a cut for Bailey Zimmerman with Holding On. As a solo artist, Whiten has sketched his palette with tracks like Breakin’ My Heart and Rollin’ Stone, then cemented it on his debut EP Six Mile, home to He’s Gone and Carolina. Made For Goodbyes, released via Warner Records, extends that thread with dusky melodies and plainspoken storytelling.
