Major League Djz presents « Echoes of Tomorrow »

On 18 September 2026 at Chinois Ibiza, Major League DJz bring Echoes of Tomorrow, a signature show that sketches a new path for African electronic music. Twins Bandile and Banele Mbere came up in Johannesburg’s club circuit, moving from early hip-hop and new age kwaito into the amapiano wave, and now drive a blend of Afro house, 3-step and deep electronic grooves. Their sets lean on drums, supple basslines and patient builds built for the dancefloor, with a sound that connects roots and forward motion.

At the center stands the Mask of Africa, the duo’s emblem and anchor for this project. Around it, the music shifts from airy piano lines to rugged low end, from hypnotic percussion to sleek synth work, tracing a line from southern African rhythms to a global sound system. Echoes of Tomorrow focuses on feel and flow rather than spectacle, welcoming guests from across the dance scene and channeling that Johannesburg-to-Ibiza energy into one cohesive journey.
