Girli « The Opinionated Tour »

GIRLI brings The Opinionated Tour to Klub Zaścianek in Kraków on 13 October 2026. A pop project led by Londoner Milly Toomey, GIRLI sculpts her songs from a direct blend of electro-pop, indie and punk-tinged elements. Emerging in the mid-2010s on the British alternative scene, she laid her foundations with Odd One Out in 2019, followed by the EP Damsel in Distress in 2021 and the album Matriarchy in 2024, gradually shifting her sound from abrasive rap-electro toward more melodic pop while retaining its edge.

On stage, GIRLI plays the friction between spoken word and catchy choruses, massive synths and jittery guitars. Her lyrics draw on autobiography and tackle identity, relationships, mental health, and questions of gender and sexuality, seen through a queer and DIY lens. In a club setting her set moves from raw early material to more recent tracks built around clear hooks and a danceable rhythm, all carried by a forthright stage presence and a direct way of addressing the audience. In Kraków, The Opinionated Tour pairs this unfiltered writing with an increasingly strong catalogue for a tight show designed for intimate venues.
