Northlane

Northlane land in Dublin on August 3, 2026 at The Academy. Formed in 2009 in Sydney, the Australian band carved its path in metalcore with progressive twists and djent‑leaning riffs, building songs on tight syncopations, complex structures and a balance of harsh and melodic vocals. The arrival of singer Marcus Bridge in 2014 opened a new chapter: Node brought wider atmospheres and clearer hooks, Mesmer deepened the writing, then Alien folded in electronic and industrial textures that reshaped their modern metal palette. Obsidian pushed that blend further, keeping a heavy rhythmic core while playing with contrasts and space.

On stage, Northlane move between dense grooves, ambient breaks and pulsing electronics, stitching older technical cuts to their more textured recent tracks. Guitars shift from jagged patterns to widescreen layers, drums stay precise and weighty, and Bridge switches fluidly from screams to clean lines without breaking momentum.
