Archspire

Archspire bring their technical death metal from Vancouver to The Academy in Dublin on 29 October 2026. Formed in the late 2000s, the band pushes fast tempos, precise rhythm work and dense arrangements, driven by Oli Peters’ rapid-fire vocals, the twin guitars of Dean Lamb and Tobi Morelli, Jared Smith’s bass work, and Spencer Prewett’s sharply segmented drumming. The focus is collective precision and cohesion, with patterns that interlock at high speed rather than unfold as solos.

On stage, the set draws from All Shall Align, The Lucid Collective and Relentless Mutation, balancing bursts of velocity with short atmospheric breaths. Bleed the Future, recorded with producer Dave Otero, tightens the writing without flattening the complexity, giving the newer tracks a clearer contour that carries well live.
