Brooklyn’s Castle Rat bring a doom-and-heavy metal blend steeped in medieval and fantasy imagery. On stage, the band leans into a cast of recurring characters—warrior queens, mages, masked figures—to add a theatrical edge without losing the weight of slow, monolithic riffs and sudden accelerations. Melodic vocals carry tales of quests, occult cults and witchcraft, with psychedelic inflections sliding between classic heavy metal foundations. After a run of digital singles and studio sessions, the group crystallised this approach on the 2024 album Into the Realm. Their live set hinges on storytelling, costume work and a sound that nods to 70s doom as much as to contemporary psych metal. The show takes place on 4 August 2026 at Niebo in Warszawa.
Support comes from Diving Stove, a heavy metal band from Warsaw. They open with a local take on classic metal: tight riffs, driving tempos and a direct, no-frills energy that sets the mood for Castle Rat’s theatrical charge.
