Kosheen

Kosheen bring their hybrid electronic sound to Zaklęte Rewiry in Wrocław on 3 May 2026. Formed in Bristol around Welsh vocalist Sian Evans with producers Markee Ledge and Darren Beale, the project grew out of drum and bass and breakbeat, pulling in trip hop moods and direct pop writing. The balance is clear in their catalogue: broken-beat rhythms, dark-tinged textures and melodic refrains with Evans’ voice at the centre. After early singles, Resist (2001) set the tone, followed by Kokopelli (2003), which pushed guitars and an alternative rock edge further forward. Damage (2007), Independence (2012) and Solitude (2013) kept refining that tension between club roots, song form and a more reflective atmosphere, moving from the dancefloor towards a fluid, live-ready format.

Back on stage since 2019 in a refreshed lineup led by Sian Evans with Ron McElroy and Mitchell Glover, Kosheen revisit their key tracks and rework them with a leaner, contemporary approach. Expect a set that threads their DnB and breakbeat DNA with hooks and widescreen ambience, carried by Evans’ unmistakable delivery.
