Rival Consoles

Rival Consoles is the alias of London-based producer Ryan Lee West, a craftsman of electronic music who works from a home studio, using analog gear and meticulous editing. His records draw a clear line — from IO to Persona, Articulation and Overflow — in which each piece is born of experimentation: breathing rhythms and melodies built layer by layer. His approach is physical and detail‑oriented: textures that erode, patterns that shift shape, and a use of space that leaves room between elements, as if the track were composing itself in front of the audience.

On 18 June 2026 at Mon Madrid in Madrid, he presents a live performance that condenses this method: tracks that alternate between dry pulses and more open passages, reconfigured in real time. Without relying on heavy effects, West works with dynamics, timbre and tension, allowing small variations to propel the set’s narrative.
