Ben l'Oncle Soul - Tournée

Ben l’Oncle Soul returns to the stage with a soul that has continually evolved. Discovered with Soul Wash and then with a self-titled debut album that mixed French lyrics and retro groove, the singer later expanded his songwriting toward the chanson tradition before a jazz detour around Sinatra with Under My Skin. More recently, Addicted to You and Is It You? have placed him in a more contemporary vein, between R&B, neo-soul and pop-tinged nuances, often in English. On stage he plays with these different colours—soulful pulses, harmonies drawn from gospel and jazz excursions—carried by a supple voice and a knack for direct, hook-driven choruses.

At La Source in Fontaine, on 23 October 2026, he will offer a set that draws from all his periods: francophone classics, recent tracks, and reinterpretations that change the light without betraying the melody. Depending on the lineup, the palette shifts from an intimate-club sound to something more expansive, with a few hip-hop touches and pop nods. Audiences come for the warmth of the live show, the call-and-response backing vocals, and that francophone/US mix that is his signature—between a soul heritage and present-day R&B.
