BCUC — Bantu Continua Uhuru Consciousness — has embodied the spirit of Soweto for more than twenty years. Homegrown funk, hip‑hop consciousness and punk‑rock energy meld into an original sound deeply rooted in its heritage. Their motto: music for the people, by the people, with the people.
With their fifth album, 'The Road Is Never Easy', BCUC takes us on an afro‑psychedelic journey to the heart of Soweto, somewhere between a gospel sermon and a punk concert. Join us on 6 October 2026 at Le Trabendo in Paris.
