Fink

Fink lands on 4 October 2026 at UT Connewitz in Leipzig with songs from The City Is Coming to Erase It All, the ninth album from Fin Greenall and his long-running project. Written and recorded in Zennor, Cornwall, the record follows a clear rule set with producer Sam Okell: keep it to tools and textures that could have existed in 1974. The reference point is the spirit of Michael Chapman, but the aim is present tense — a new take built on the same ethos. Grainy guitars, unhurried motifs and close-up vocals shape material that thinks in album terms rather than playlists.

On stage, Fink sticks to the trio DNA that has defined the project since the mid-2000s: guitar at the core, bass and drums carving out space and tension. The set leans into the album’s narrative mindset — an opening that feels like an introduction, an instrumental arc that closes the circle — while leaving room for older tracks that share its pulse. Touring remains a necessity for Fink, and the night focuses on road-testing these new songs with restraint, dynamics and attention to detail.
