Formed in Amsterdam by Mano Hollestelle, Eva Wijnbergen and Lieselot Elzinga, Baby Berserk presents carefully crafted songs that draw on synth-pop, new wave and danceable post-punk. On stage, the trio balances live-band energy with a club pulse: tight rhythms, cutting synth lines, catchy melodies and direct vocals. All of this retains a clear pop format without tipping into electronic abstraction, carrying a sense of performance inherited from European nights.
Under the name Angine de Poitrine, Klek and Khn de Poitrine develop a Quebec instrumental duo that blends experimental rock, math rock and angular post-punk. Their writing is based on the accumulation and subtraction of short motifs, precise drumming, sometimes microtonal guitars and basses, and chromatic phrases that establish discreet tensions within often asymmetrical structures. Without vocals, the group favors movement, variation and rhythmic displacement, yielding a tight, jagged and danceable sound.
