Sound of Karmen : Gerd Janson, Khiral, Ødass

Sound of Karmen unfolds its house and tech house line-up at Karmen Camina, Strasbourg, on April 30, 2026, with both rooms open, Gallery and Club. Headlining, Gerd Janson delivers an extended four-hour set in the Gallery, while the Strasbourg scene takes charge in the Club.

Gerd Janson, a fixture of the German scene with roots in Frankfurt and Offenbach, arrives with a background as a DJ, producer and head of the Running Back label. A longtime resident of Robert Johnson, he moves between house, disco, techno and electro, with Balearic, boogie and new beat leanings. His selections blend historical references, straightforward tracks, edits and more oblique detours, all driven by crisp rhythms and supple basslines—ideal for a long-format Gallery set.

Ødass, an emerging DJ from Strasbourg, deploys a mix of minimal house, microhouse, acid house and funky grooves. She favors fine rhythmic detail and a lively energy, delivering sets that get people moving while keeping the mind alert.

On the Club side, Khiral brings together Legba and Callèn, a Strasbourg duo formed in 2025 after years involved in local collectives. Their rapport behind the decks translates into groovy, hypnotic sets that move between minimal, tech house and techno, crafted for the dancefloor.
