Luther, a rapper operating between Niort and Bordeaux, unfolds a rap that flirts with trap and with more diffuse electronic textures. Since his beginnings on SoundCloud in 2018, he has constructed a precise discography: Trame (2020) sets the framework, the EP Garçon (2022) tightens his writing and his relationship to melody, and EXIT (2024) asserts a denser format. Smooth flows, airy productions, inward-looking lyrics and dark or drifting atmospheres compose a set that favors tension over excess, with a stage presence as stripped-down as his communication.
From Geneva, Rounhaa links the Swiss scene and France’s new wave of rap. Yeratik and Horion place him between frontal tracks and more restrained pieces, marked by a melancholy that surfaces, as on “DUBAÏ.” His writing moves between trap, melodic rap and direct forms, carried by vocal variations and a sense of atmosphere rather than by a single formula.
