As part of the Nuits de Champagne Festival, Les Fatals Picards take over La Chapelle Argence in Troyes on 21 May 2027. This French band, adept at blending styles, blur the lines between alternative rock and chanson, between humor and irony, bringing a dose of commitment without posturing. On stage—their playground—memorable choruses, sharp lyrics, wry asides and precise energy follow one another amid taut guitars and clever keyboards. Brought to wide public attention with “L’amour à la française” at Eurovision 2007, they draw from a generous discography — from Pamplemousse mécanique to Le sens de la gravité and Country Club — for a set that alternates social commentary and whimsy. On the bill: spontaneity, a sense of narrative, collective spirit and a rock that prefers a wink to posing. A concert conceived to be shared, sung along to, and to reinvigorate everyday life with a touch of irony.
