Super Sweet: DJ Swisha

Super Sweet is making its Berlin debut at Phantom Bar on 8 May 2026 at 21h00, with a lineup featuring:

DJ Swisha (Brooklyn/NYC) is a force behind the decks. Crate digging from both the internet and the archive, DJ Swisha’s sound is an intertextual exploration of club music history — a fusion that cuts across aggressive footwork, Jersey/Baltimore club, SoundCloud rap, house, jungle and techno, pulling these strands into a dancefloor-ready sound. In his sets, DJ Swisha weaves unexpected rhythms and textures.

Chinyere is a sound producer and DJ based in Hamburg. Growing up between Igbo highlife on his father’s side and alternative rock and punk rock on his mother’s, his sound is shaped by a wide and contrasting musical spectrum. He has a focus on gqom and uthayela, with an affinity for rough textures, heavy basslines and percussive intensity. In his sets, he blends these influences with Hard Drum, UK Garage, Global Bass, Footwork, Bubbling, Singeli, Drill and other subgenres. Chinyere explores and experiments with new sounds and samples on the dancefloor.

Super Sweet host Nissa Carrington is a DJ, radio host and multidisciplinary creative based in Berlin. Centering Black electronic music, her selections form a transatlantic blend of bass-heavy contemporary club sounds and nostalgic elements, calling back to her growing up with Rap, RnB, Pop, Disco and Funk. She blends heavy-hitting and groove-led sounds.
