Mau P « Baddest Behaviour Opening Party »

Mau P will open his residency Baddest Behaviour on August 5, 2026 at Pacha, Ibiza. Behind the alias is Maurits Westveen, a producer and DJ from Amsterdam who left behind his period as Maurice West to focus on club-oriented house and tech-house: cyclical basslines, clipped vocals and direct arrangements designed for the dancefloor. Since the impact of “Drugs From Amsterdam” in 2022, his sonic signature has been consolidated with tracks such as “Gimme That Bounce”, “Tesla” and “Like I Like It”, as well as his reinterpretation of “The Less I Know The Better”. He also broadened his scope toward a more melodic, techno pulse with “Metro”, created with Kevin de Vries for Afterlife.

For this opening, Mau P condenses his functional, no-frills approach: taut grooves, precise dynamic shifts and measured drops that sustain energy without losing the thread. Baddest Behaviour aims for a club experience centered on sound, where his selection bridges the new European wave of house with denser textures. A dancefloor-oriented set that reflects the artist’s journey between studios and booths, and his way of making each track push the next.
