The Bouncing Souls bring the Born To Be Tour to The Palace Theatre in Calgary on July 16, 2026. Formed in New Brunswick, New Jersey in 1989, the band grew out of the East Coast punk scene with quick, melody-forward songs and big chorus shout-alongs. From early EPs and The Good, the Bad & the Argyle to Hopeless Romantic and How I Spent My Summer Vacation, their set moves between hardcore roots and simple, catchy hooks, carried by Greg Attonito, Pete Steinkopf and Bryan Kienlen.
Detroit’s The Suicide Machines stack sharp ska upstrokes against punchy hardcore. From Destruction by Definition through Revolution Spring, they switch between offbeat bounce and straight-ahead punk, with Jason Navarro’s vocals driving lyrics that tap into social and political themes.
Also on the bill, Orange County’s Death By Stereo blend hardcore urgency with metal-edged riffs and gang vocals. From If Looks Could Kill, I’d Watch You Die to We’re All Dying Just in Time, they thread thrash-leaning breaks with melodic turns built for the stage.
