The Irish Rovers

On March 21, 2027 at Great Canadian Casino Vancouver in Coquitlam, The Irish Rovers take the stage with a set shaped by Irish tradition and the folk of the diaspora. Formed in 1963 in Toronto by Northern Irish immigrants George and Joe Millar, Jimmy Ferguson, Will Millar and Wilcil McDowell, the band forged a blend of pub songs, ballads and maritime tales, with a light brush of North American country.

“The Unicorn” carried their sound worldwide; in concert it sits beside chorus‑ready standards, nimble reels and newer sea songs about travel and memory. Storytelling with a wink, close harmonies and arrangements built on guitars, whistle, accordion and bodhrán anchor their live identity and open space for the room to sing along.
