On 6 October 2026 at the Rockhal in Esch‑sur‑Alzette (Luxembourg), Spiritbox and Jinjer share the bill for a contemporary metal event.
Spiritbox, formed in 2017 in Victoria (British Columbia) around Courtney LaPlante and Mike Stringer, attracted attention with “Holy Roller” in 2020, a prelude to Eternal Blue (2021, Pale Chord/Rise Records), which reached No. 13 on the Billboard 200. Their signature blends djent heaviness, atmospheric textures and cinematic arrangements, driven by a voice that shifts from clean singing to growls. In 2022 drummer Zev Rose and bassist Josh Gilbert joined the band, coinciding with the release of the experimental EP Rotoscope. In 2023 The Fear of Fear pushed this hybrid aesthetic further, and the single “Jaded” earned a Grammy nomination for Best Metal Performance.
Jinjer, formed in 2009 in Ukraine and fronted by Tatiana Shmayluk, fuses progressive metal, groove and metalcore, alternating melodic passages and growls over tight rhythms and frequent time‑signature changes. First noticed with the track “Pisces,” the band followed with King of Everything (2016), Macro (2019) and Wallflowers (2021), and have since expanded their international touring schedule, backed by a strong rhythm section and a controlled stage presence.
