Taking their name from a Chuck Jones character and a Bo Diddley classic, the Roadrunners released six albums and performed from 1982 to 1996. Combining the Beatles’ gift for melody, The Jam’s energy and The Dogs’ class, the Havre-based band played more than a thousand concerts in France and abroad, from the United States to Belgium.
One of the few French groups to use Franglais in lyrics written by Frandol, the Roadrunners — known simply as “the Road” to friends — built a reputation as a live act over the course of those shows. Concert on 20 November 2026 at 7:00 PM at the Cargo de Nuit.
