Placebo - 30th Anniversary Tour

Placebo bring their 30th Anniversary Tour to Hamburg: on 26 October 2026 the duo of Brian Molko and Stefan Olsdal will play the Barclaycard Arena. Since the mid‑’90s the London band has mixed alternative rock with glam and electronica influences; live, Molko’s androgynously-tinged voice meets dense guitars, dark synth textures and driving grooves. For the anniversary, Placebo span three decades: early singles like “Nancy Boy,” “Pure Morning” and “Every You Every Me,” tracks from the albums Without You I’m Nothing, Black Market Music and Sleeping With Ghosts, the later live staple “The Bitter End,” plus “Special K,” “Infra‑Red” and selected songs from more recent records such as Meds, Loud Like Love and Never Let Me Go. The setlist varies from night to night but makes room for well-known songs as well as deeper cuts. Between raw energy and pared-back passages, the band works with refreshed arrangements that sharpen the songs without losing their core. The concert traces Placebo’s development—from their early edge to their present, darker, shimmering sound.
