Brass Rave Unit X Point De Côté - La Bellevilloise

On the occasion of the release of their new album Liquid Era, Brass Rave Unit presents its first concert in France at La Bellevilloise in Paris, accompanied by Point de Côté, an emerging brass outfit from Nantes with their own distinctly futuristic style. A 100% electro-brass evening.

The trio fuses the sounds of the Amsterdam underground with pulsing beats. Drums, saxophone and trumpet are pushed beyond their traditional limits through the use of effects and synthesizers, giving rise to an instrumental rave aimed at the dancefloor.

Active for more than ten years, Brass Rave Unit has played at festivals in the Netherlands and on international stages from Glastonbury to New York, including Berlin clubs. On May 3, they bring that energy to Paris to celebrate Liquid Era.

Point de Côté

Six friends, brass and machines: Point de Côté blends jazz-funk, electro and high energy in compositions that blur genre boundaries. Between improvisation, funky basslines and hypnotic sequences from 77 to 177 bpm, their music comes alive in a live show.

The group, formed in 2022, is preparing a second EP following Parenthèse, released in 2023, and has recently issued two singles, CDB and Épiphanie.
