Buenos Aires childhood friends Catriel Guerreiro and Ulises Guerriero shaped CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso as a duo that folds trap, hip-hop, pop and electronics into a live-band approach, with sudden detours into rock, house and jazz fusion. Breaking out in 2018, they helped fuel Argentina’s new urban wave with tracks like “Piola”, “Jala Jala”, “Ouke” and “Cono Hielo”, and stood out on stage with a full-band setup, far from simple playback. After parallel solo chapters — El disko for CA7RIEL and Saeta for Paco Amoroso in 2021 — they teamed up again in 2022 with “Paga Dios” and “En el After”, then hit the road. Their first joint album, Baño María (2024), carries that shifting aesthetic between street energy and pop refrains, followed by a Tiny Desk set the same year and the EP Papota in 2025. The Free Spirits World Tour brings them to History, 1663 Queen Street East in Toronto, on June 23, 2026, with elastic beats, sharp riffs and vocals that sit front and center.
