On May 2, 2026, Sala La Paloma (Barcelona) brings together Turntables On The Hudson, Nickodemus’s live sound system, with Nappy G on percussion and Carlos Sarduy on trumpet. Born out of the New York nights that gave the project its name and from the Wonderwheel Recordings ecosystem, their set crosses house, broken beat, downtempo and hip‑hop with Afro‑Latin, Caribbean and Middle Eastern accents, and a strong emphasis on percussion, dub, funk and soul. It’s a live performance that moves between the dancefloor and attentive listening, where electronics converse with live instrumentation in real time.
Also joining the bill is El Búho, offering folktronica with an organic pulse, field recordings and rhythms that orbit between Andean music, cumbia and other Latin American roots, always balancing texture and groove.
Angela Blackburn will open with a set designed for the occasion, fine‑tuning the bridge between the worlds of Nickodemus and El Búho so the night gets underway seamlessly.
