On 25 April 2026, Modeselektor bring Classics Vol. 1 to Dockland in Münster, Germany: a live set that revisits the duo’s early tracks and rebuilds them for today’s stage. The foundations of their first releases get re-cut with thick low end, skewed drum patterns and that restless, playful edge that runs through their current sound. Themes you might recognise return rougher and leaner, wired for a room that wants movement and left turns.

Gernot Bronsert and Sebastian Szary have shaped a hybrid language between Berlin techno, electro, IDM, hip-hop and bass culture since the late 90s. Tempo shifts, digital textures and pressure on the subs define their approach across albums from Hello Mom! and Happy Birthday! to Monkeytown, Who Else and the mixtape Extended, alongside their Moderat chapter. With Classics Vol. 1, they fold that history back into the present: not a museum set, but a living update where old DNA collides with new tools, arranged live, raw and playful.
