La Bajon

La Bajon returns to the stage with a stand-up that examines our era and its taboos. Every day she’s told that comedians have plenty to work with; she makes that the starting point for a very simple game: how to joke without being caught up by feminists, men’s-rights activists, the woke, religious people, conspiracy theorists… and even paragliders? Rather than dodging the issue, she owns it and throws the playing field wide open, making room for everyone and inviting the audience to jump in with her. In this new show she looks at what people still dare to say, what is no longer said, and the fear of getting it wrong; she riffs on current events, on words that spark anger, and on the boxes people try to fit everyone into. Between dry punchlines, off-kilter characters and a knack for turning expectations on their head, she delivers a physical, fast-paced stand-up where there is no safety net.
