Viktor Vincent

On May 28, 2026, L’Intégral in Belley will host Viktor Vincent, a mentalist trained in film directing who uses mentalism to tell stories. On stage he establishes understated atmospheres, lets the narrative breathe, and blends grand History with intimate tales, with a conscious taste for objects worn by time. His stage name—chosen in homage to his deceased mentor, as was customary in the 19th century—speaks to his attachment to heritage; a retro moustache and British suits complete a universe in which the past converses with the present.

Curious about the future yet fascinated by memory, he links memories, intuitions and coincidences, inviting the audience to participate with benevolence, playing with spectators without ever deceiving them. In 2015 he received a Mandrake d'Or, a distinction in the world of illusion. Beyond the stage, he has written and directed two mid-length films, Les Liens invisibles and Kreskine, which extend his narratives of illusion and perception. An evening to enter a narrative mentalism that is precise and intimate, where history leads the dance.
