On 31 October 2026, Dick Annegarn will take over the Lille Grand Palais with Chansons Agricoles, a program centered on songs nourished by nature and the gestures of everyday life. At the heart of the set are his gravelly voice, a precise guitar, and images of fields, valleys and animals that infuse his songwriting. A spare, direct journey between folk, blues and storytelling, where the words take root and breathe.
Born in The Hague and a Francophone by choice, Annegarn made his mark with “Bruxelles,” but his repertoire goes far beyond that. “Sacré Géranium,” “Vélo va,” “Quelle belle vallée”… These are songs about balance with the living world, here finding a new light. True to his craft, he revisits his classics and unveils recent, earth‑related pieces—unadorned and intimate. A rendezvous in Lille to hear a distinctive voice restore nature to the center of song, carried by a simple, precise stage presence.
