Dub inc

Dub Inc is back on tour and will stop at the MeM in Rennes on 20 March 2027. Formed in 1997, the band represents a French reggae and dub scene that has grown onstage through albums and European tours. Fronted by the voices of Hakim “Bouchkour” Meridja and Aurélien “Komlan” Zohou, the collective also includes Frédéric Peyron, Abdenour Khennoussi, Jérémie Gregeois, Mathieu Granjon, Grégory “Zigo” Mavridorakis and Idir Derdiche. Their repertoire traces the milestones of their discography, from Diversité to Hors Contrôle — an album shaped by political and social questions in France — up to Paradise. In concert, Dub Inc combines heavy basslines, precise skank rhythms and dub vibrations, with choruses crafted to be sung back. Regulars on festival bills, from Boomtown Fair to stages across Europe, they design a set that alternates roots-driven pulses with more contemporary accelerations. In Rennes, audiences can expect a generous run-through of their classics and more recent songs, performed with the tightness of a band seasoned in live performance.
