On April 10, 2026, at Le 106 in Rouen, Hollie Cook unfolds her personal vision of reggae, blending pop softness, Caribbean heritage and touches of soul. Spotted as a member of The Slits before striking out on her own, the British singer has refined across her albums a sound she calls "tropical pop": a precisely arranged reggae carried by a clear voice and soft, tactile textures. From her self-titled debut to Twice, then Vessel of Love and Happy Hour, she has woven a warm, expansive and melodic repertoire. Live, her keyboard lines, dub echoes and harmonies create a fluid atmosphere where songs glide effortlessly between relaxed rhythms and instantly memorable choruses.
By contrast, La Yegros arrives with the nu-cumbia of Buenos Aires and the colors of Argentina’s northeast. Formed between popular performance scenes and electronic culture, she sets cumbia, chamamé, carnavalito, pop and rap in conversation, following the path of her albums Viene de mí, Magnetismo and Suelta. With production shaped by her ties to the ZZK collective, her sets assemble electronic bass, Latin percussion and upfront vocals. On stage, the format remains agile and effective, designed to channel the energy of South American traditions within a contemporary club framework. Together, they offer two ways of opening the dance and of crossing paths between the Caribbean and Latin America.
