The Dark Side of the Moon

The Dark Side of the Moon will set up their amps in Colmar on December 5, 2026, at the Parc des Expositions et des Congrès. Formed by musicians already known for their work with Feuerschwanz, Amaranthe and Ad Infinitum, the quartet brings together Melissa Bonny, Hans Platz, Jenny Diehl and Morten Løwe Sørensen. The project carves out a melodic metal path where folk, symphonic and power elements meet, featuring dense arrangements, crisp guitars, a driving rhythmic backbone and ample space for Melissa Bonny’s voice.

On stage, the band moves between reinterpretations of music associated with films, TV series and video games, and original compositions drawn from the album Metamorphosis (2023). The set favors straightforward song formats, recognizable themes and an aesthetic inspired by soundtrack imagery. At the crossroads of the European folk metal and symphonic metal scenes, The Dark Side of the Moon plays with the memory of cult themes as much as with the effectiveness of the riffs, delivering an accessible live show that nonetheless retains depth.
