Talisco

Talisco returns with a fifth album of raw, rock-leaning aesthetics and a vintage grain. Conceived as a return to the physical act of playing, the record was captured in very few takes on analog tape, without effects, in conditions close to a live performance. Sharp guitars, a tension that surfaces, the spirit of the ’50s and ’60s — he refines his musical language and opens a new chapter where sound and image answer one another. It’s a way of refocusing the material on voice, riffs and rhythmic textures, unadorned.

First revealed in the early 2010s with electro-pop tinged with folk, combining straightforward melodies and lyrics largely in English, Talisco drew attention with Run (2014) and the track “Your Wish,” before exploring progressively bolder sounds across subsequent albums. On stage he presents the project as a full band, reviving his early songs and introducing new material with edgy guitars and a dynamic crafted for the live venue. Talisco will be at La Cartonnerie, Reims, on 25 September 2026.
