On 26 April 2026 at Casa Montjuïc, Barcelona, Colleen (Cécile Schott) presents Libres antes del final, her new work for Thrill Jockey. The French artist centers her research here on analog synthesis, constructing songs from oscillators and modulations worked with an almost physical attention. For this project, all the pieces were reamplified at Casa Montjuïc itself: the venue’s acoustics, its air and proportions were incorporated into the record’s sonic memory. In Barcelona the presentation is conceived as two concerts in a single night; this first set at Casa Montjuïc returns the sound to the space that helped shape it, and allows it to be heard in direct dialogue with the room.
Warm-up DJ set by Taki Onqoy (Foggy Hex / Kiosk Radio). Co-founder and host of the Outsiders residency, they crossover traditional musics, free jazz and noise, and open up to dub and bass music to carve out a space between dance and psychedelia.
