Modern Nature en Madrid

Modern Nature returns to Madrid on April 15, 2026, to present The Heat Warps at the Wurlitzer Ballroom. After the No Fixed Point in Space tour, Jack Cooper has steered the band toward a more structured and direct sound, bringing in guitarist Tara Cunningham to reinforce the rhythmic and melodic framework. Born in London after the end of Ultimate Painting, they have moved from a spare rock toward territories where repetition, chamber folk-jazz and motorik coexist, as heard on How to Live in the City (2019), Island of Noise (2022) and No Fixed Point in Space (2023).

The Heat Warps marks a new phase: more compact songs, clear arrangements and a collective approach that addresses social concerns with a note of optimism. Live, Modern Nature functions as a flexible ensemble that weaves hypnotic patterns, elastic percussion and organic textures, leaving room for improvisation without losing shape. A concert designed to put the new repertoire at the center, gauge its restrained electricity and see how it interacts with that archive of gentle tensions and cycles the band has been refining album by album.
