Zoufris Maracas

Zoufris Maracas will perform on October 2, 2026 at the Le Family Cultural Center in Landerneau. Led by Vin's and Micho, partners since their teens, the group draws much of its inspiration from a long journey between Niger and Burkina Faso. From that experience came songs driven by African percussion and a writing style that observes the world without compromise, with the poetry of defiance that has followed them since their beginnings.

Reunited in Paris in 2007, they started out in the metro, crossed the path of a festival and then an independent producer, before being invited as early as 2010 to share the stage with La Rue Kétanou. The collective grew, and in 2012 they released Prison Dorée, their debut album that established their identity. On stage, Zoufris Maracas deliver precise lyrics, rhythms drawn from West Africa and a stage presence nourished by years on the road.
