Aldous Harding

On 28 June 2026 at Circolo Magnolia, Aldous Harding brings her finely carved folk-to-chamber-pop writing to the stage. Emerging from Lyttelton, New Zealand, the singer and songwriter first revealed a spare acoustic vein on her self-titled debut (2014). After joining 4AD, she broadened the palette on Party (2017) with producer John Parish, introducing keys, discreet arrangements and a pronounced play on vocal shifts. Designer (2019) and Warm Chris (2022) continued that move toward intimate pop, with winding melodies and a minimalist frame that still anchors itself in folk.

Live, Harding leans into elliptical lyrics and a theatrical way of shaping phrases, moving between guitar and piano, solo or with a tight band. Her sets thread quiet tension with flashes of light, where small gestures lead and timbre carries the narrative more than volume. At Circolo Magnolia, she draws across her catalogue and lets space, silence and micro-grooves set the mood, keeping focus on the grain of her voice and the contours of her songwriting.
