Mad Professor is a significant figure in dub worldwide. Since the 1970s, when he began designing his own mixing consoles and effects units and later founded Ariwa Studios, his work has helped shape modern dub. In the 1980s, he produced numerous hits and received the Reggae Producer of the Year award for seven consecutive years.
Throughout his career, he has worked on remixes for artists such as Massive Attack, The Orb, Sade, Jamiroquai and Rancid, extending his work beyond reggae and dub.
On 5 May at Sala Nazca, he will perform a two-hour live dub set accompanied by MC King Karmz. A session revisiting classics and tracks released on Ariwa.
