Info
The Italian wave returns to Barcelona. Italian Dance Wave, the movement conceived by Franz Scala and Fabrizio Mamarella from Slow Motion Records and Wrong Era, comes to Sala Upload on 28 March 2026 at 22:59, with a line-up built for the dancefloor. Italo, dark disco, acid and nocturnal groove to dance, sweat and stay on the floor until the last beat.
Franz Scala, a prominent figure in the movement and a recognizable name in the Italo underground. A regular behind the decks at Berlin venues such as Berghain/Panorama Bar, Sisyphos, RSO and Kater Blau, and part of the Italorama party. A key figure in the contemporary Italo sound.
Enzio Etchaberri, Dutch DJ and producer based in Berlin. His sound mixes house, electro and electronic disco, seeking that moment when place, time, people and music align on the dancefloor, with sets designed for both body and mind.
VASAP b2b Radio Vega
Two dancefloor sensibilities connect from Barcelona. VASAP (Martina Vasapollo), an Italian DJ and producer based in the city whose sound navigates between disco, house, progressive underground and melodic techno, joins forces with Radio Vega, a fixture of the local clubbing circuit, for a B2B full of groove, energy and narrative drive.
Diego Montiel b2b John Justicia
The founder of Side Up Works, Diego Montiel, links up with John Justicia, a Barcelona-based DJ and producer tied to the city’s club culture. A B2B of relentless pressure, edits and dark tension, designed to keep the floor in motion.
Italo. Dark disco. Acid.
Italy, Berlin and Barcelona connected in one night.
