Placebo celebrates its 30th anniversary and is hitting the road again in 2026. The duo Brian Molko and Stefan Olsdal announce a return to their beginnings, with a set focused on Placebo and Without You I’m Nothing, and songs that haven’t been played on stage for more than twenty years. On 23 November 2026, the tour will stop at the LDLC Arena in Décines-Charpieu (Lyon).

Formed in 1996, the band developed an aesthetic and lyrical universe that shifted the conventions of British rock. Overt ambiguity, glamour and provocation challenged prevailing representations of gender and masculinity, opening the way for other voices described as alternative. This approach resonated with an audience on the margins of the mainstream and continues to influence their peers.

Alongside this, Placebo announces Placebo RE:CREATED, a reworking of their first album due for release on 19 June 2026. It’s an opportune moment to hear these early tracks again, reactivated both on stage and in the studio.
