Hombres G return to Madrid with “Los Mejores Años de nuestra vida,” a look back at their career that lands on December 11, 2026 at the Movistar Arena. Formed in 1982 at the height of the Movida, the quartet—David Summers (vocals and bass), Rafa Gutiérrez and Dani Mezquita (guitars), and Javier Molina (drums)—made a name for themselves from their first records, Hombres G (1985), La cagaste… Burt Lancaster (1986) and Estamos locos… ¿o qué? (1987), combining melodic pop rock with echoes of new wave and punk-pop. After an initial phase that closed in 1992, the band returned in 2002 and has alternated touring and studio work with releases such as Todo esto es muy extraño (2004), 10 (2007), Desayuno continental (2010), the collaborative acoustic En la playa (2011) and Resurrección (2019).

In concert, Hombres G favor songs with a clear structure, guitars up front and choruses that catch on the first listen, with lyrics that move between humor, romantic-comedy and everyday scenes. “Los Mejores Años de nuestra vida” proposes a tour through different stages of their catalogue, from eighties classics to more recent pieces, with the direct pop-rock sound the band has honed over decades.
