Hombres G « Los Mejores Años de nuestra vida »

On 19 September 2026, Hombres G arrive at the Granada Bullring with “Los Mejores Años de nuestra vida” (“The Best Years of Our Lives”), a journey through more than four decades of Spanish-language pop rock. Formed in Madrid in 1982, the quartet—David Summers (vocals and bass), Rafa Gutiérrez and Dani Mezquita (guitars), and Javier Molina (drums)—came of age during the Movida Madrileña with a direct sound that blends melodic pop, new wave echoes, and a punk-pop drive. Their early albums—Hombres G (1985), La cagaste… Burt Lancaster (1986), and Estamos locos… ¿o qué? (1987)—connected with an entire generation through stories of love, humor, and everyday life, and carried the band from Spain to Latin America.

After a hiatus in the 1990s, the group resumed activity in 2002 and since then has alternated studio work and touring with releases such as Todo esto es muy extraño (2004), 10 (2007), Desayuno continental (2010), the acoustic project En la playa (2011), and Resurrección (2019). In this concert, the band revisits its repertoire with that blend of clear melodies, energetic guitars, and intimate lyrics that weave past and present together without losing the immediacy that has defined them from the start.
