El Arrebato

On July 30, 2026, El Arrebato will perform at the Concert Music Festival in Poblado Sancti Petri, Chiclana de la Frontera. Behind the stage name is Javier Labandón, a Sevillian who blends rumba-pop and flamenco-pop with lyrics about love, neighborhood life and the everyday. After his beginnings with Piel Morena, he began his solo career with Poquito a poco (2001) and Tanto por vivir (2002), and consolidated his name with Son de amores (2004). Since then he has added further chapters such as Mundología (2008), Lo que andábamos buscando (2010) and Músico de guardia (2017), maintaining a balance between catchy, memorable choruses and more intimate passages.

Live he performs with an electric band format, supported by backing vocals, handclaps and rumba-style percussion. The set usually alternates sentimental ballads with more rhythmic numbers, leaving room for the rhythmic pulse and for a voice that connects with the audience without artifice. A singer-songwriter, he links Romani tradition and radio-friendly pop, and often weaves nods to colleagues from the Andalusian scene. In Chiclana, one can expect a journey through his best-known songs and fresh interpretations of his repertoire, where the pulse of rumba, popular song and moments with a flamenco air coexist.
