Uña y Carne « Que La Rumba Te Acompañe »

On May 22, 2026, Uña y Carne arrives at Sala Lab/Wagon in Madrid with Que la rumba te acompañe, a new stop on their 2026 tour. The duo—filmmaker, composer and producer Carlos Salado and singer Antonio Clavería—was born out of the soundtrack for the neorealist film Criando Ratas, and since then has been honing a rumba rock shaped by the pulse of flamenco, urban music and touches of Latin pop.

In this show, handclaps, string instruments and plaintive flamenco cries underpin neighborhood stories: poverty, adolescences adrift, addictions and small everyday victories. Lyrics with a journalistic bent lean on rhythms close to rap and rumba-style guitars to paint scenes of daily life. On stage, Uña y Carne often incorporate projected images and spoken passages that link the songs to their real-life protagonists, extending the project’s cinematic origins and its social outlook.

Que la rumba te acompañe offers a journey that crosses rumba, street life and echoes of science fiction. It is a direct, rhythmic ritual that focuses on shared experience and the duo’s intensity.
