Nous étions une armée

On 5 November 2026 at La Maison Bleue in Strasbourg, Nous Étions Une Armée presents a live set in which the voice speaks, shouts and pushes, carried by edgy guitars, synths and drum machines with a steady pulse. The duo navigates between post-rock and post-punk, in a half-light where melancholy collides with a brighter impulse. The spoken-sung delivery seeks the junction between opposites, builds tension and then releases it, placing the lyrics at the center of the electric flow.

The concert is structured around their debut album, "mais le ciel est sublime", whose contours they extend on stage: tenacious rhythmic lines, sharply angled guitars and synth washes that open up the space. After appearing at Le Point Éphémère and La Maroquinerie and opening for Superbus, Benjamin Biolay and Sam Sauvage, the band has honed a compact stage format focused on the impact of words and the drive of the machines. In Strasbourg, the set progresses in stages, between whispers and outbursts, for a passage in which text and sound answer one another without pause.
