Junkyard Drive

Junkyard Drive roll into TRAIN in Aarhus, Denmark on November 20, 2026 with a hard rock sound rooted in the 70s and 80s and sharpened for today. Formed in Denmark in the mid-2010s, the band leans on a two-guitar backbone, melodic lines that lock together, a gritty but tuneful vocal out front and a rhythm section built for the stage.

After an early EP in 2015, they signed with Danish label Mighty Music and released Sin & Tonic (2017), which established their presence on the Scandinavian hard rock scene. Black Coffee (2018) leaned into blues-rock riffing and choruses shaped for live rooms, while Electric Love (2020) pushed toward a heavier, more modern production without abandoning the group’s classic core.

On stage, Junkyard Drive favor direct song structures, tight grooves and melodic solos, switching between mid-tempo singalongs and faster cuts. The lyrics move from road stories to personal angles and the familiar vocabulary of rock. For this date at TRAIN, the set threads early material with newer tracks, keeping the focus on hooks, twin guitars and a no-frills delivery.
