Dua Saleh

Dua Saleh, a non-binary artist based in Minneapolis after a childhood in Sudan and the United States, weaves a sound at the intersection of rap, alternative R&B and experimental pop steeped in poetry. Their early EPs, Nūr, Rosetta and Crossover, established a dark, melodic playground where spoken word meets electronic rhythms, supple vocal lines and lyrics that probe gender, belonging and spirituality. On stage, they move between rap-adjacent phrasing and softer, hushed vocals, allowing silences and bass to breathe, with a storytelling approach rooted in slam.
