On June 5, 2026, at CALM in Limoges, Elysian Fields returns as the New York duo formed in 1995 by Jennifer Charles and Oren Bloedow. Dark, melancholic rock, detours into trip hop, echoes of jazz and late‑night cabaret: the band cultivates slow tempos, minimalist guitars and spare arrangements that leave room for the lyrics and Charles’s hushed voice. Between shadowed dream pop and blues‑tinged ballads, Elysian Fields unfolds an intimate world where melody guides each piece without excess.
Alongside them, Flora Hibberd, a British artist based in Paris, slips into a chiaroscuro indie‑folk. Her music—traversed by art‑rock inflections, country reminiscences, delicate synths and pedal steel—relies on restraint and careful attention to the words. Guitar‑led songs, discreet arrangements, voice up front: Hibberd favors closeness and measured tempos. On her album Swirl, released in 2025, as on stage, she stretches silences and crafts sober, precise atmospheres designed for attentive listening.
