Goldmen - Concert Best of Goldman

Goldmen brings Jean-Jacques Goldman back to centre stage with a Best Of tour. On 18 November 2028 at the Zénith de Toulon, the tribute band assembles seven musicians to make Goldman’s songs and those of the trio Fredericks Goldman Jones resonate in their original keys. The idea is simple: to recapture the grain, arrangements and momentum of the studio versions, without detour.

At the microphone, Alain Stevez carries a vocal timbre and phrasing that clearly evoke Jean-Jacques Goldman, while Sabrina Belmo contributes a vocal presence in the vein of Carole Fredericks. Together they lead the audience through a repertoire that has marked several generations: Quand la musique est bonne, Je te donne, Un, deux, trois, Né en 17 à Leidenstadt, À nos actes manqués, and other emblematic pieces.

On stage, a solid rhythm section, finely wrought guitars and keyboards faithful to the period’s textures support a show conceived for singing along, remembering and rediscovering these songs that still hold up. A concert aimed as much at longtime fans as at those who wish to dive back into this essential catalogue live, in Toulon.
